Born in Biddeford, ME on May 6, 1935, he was the son of Theophile and Valeda (Boucher) Chouinard. He attended the Moore Center Adult Day Program for many years.
Marcel was a very happy and quiet man who loved spending time with his family, and adored his nieces and nephews. He grew up in a very musical family and enjoyed playing the drums when he was younger. He loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed watching the 3 Stooges. He also had a passion for collecting, and polishing, coins. Marcel had an incredible bond with his sister Celine for his entire life. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving and wonderful brother, uncle, nephew, and friend.
Family includes his sister Celine Larochelle of Hooksett; Celine's six children, Marcel's nieces and nephews, whom he lived with and shared his entire life with, Ron Larochelle of Manchester, Diane Larochelle of Manchester, Julie and her husband Tom Antis of Manchester, Denise and her husband Alfred Lessard of Bluffton, SC, Nicole Larochelle of Hooksett, and Joel Larochelle of Hooksett; and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Yvette Beliveau, and Dolores Chandonnet; and one brother, Francis Chouinard.
The family would like to thank Marcel's favorite caregivers, Donna & Janet for their care and kindness over the last few years.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 225 Hemlock St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Dear Celine and all my dear friends in the Larochelle Family,
What a comfort must be in your hearts that you made Marcel so comfortable and happy throughout his life, his long life. His absence will hurt, but your faith knows he is in the arms of the Father in Heaven. God bless him for the joy he brought you and God bless you for the care and sacrifice you gave him.
