Tribute & Message From The Family

Louise D. Dickey, 79, of Pembroke, died on October 29, 2018 at her residence, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Biddeford, ME on May 25, 1939, she was the daughter of Louis Sequeria and Doris (Descoteaux) Labbe. She was educated in Biddeford and while in high school, she worked as a waitress on the boardwalk at Old Orchard Beach. She then worked for Osram Sylvania for 29 years before retiring in 1999.

Louise enjoyed roller skating, dancing and had a love for music. She was a very intelligent lady who was also very caring, loving and giving. She always had an open policy for her friends and family, and enjoyed making sandwiches for everyone in the workshop at Sylvania. Louise truly could best be described as "Super Woman". Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, companion, and friend.

Family includes four children, Linda Dexter and her husband Michael, and their two daughters of Port St. Lucie, FL, Dana Dickey and his two sons of NH, Erich Dickey and his seven children of ME, and Kathy Dickey and her daughter of NH; twelve grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Sequeira and his three children, and Michael Labbe and his child; several nieces and nephews; and her lifelong partner and soulmate, Albert Page.

She was predeceased by one son, Dean.

A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Sisters of the Holy Cross, 365 Island Pond Rd., Manchester, NH 03103.

Condolence & Memory Journal

You were our Mother and Father. You were all we had. You were all we needed. Who could ask for more? We shared you with the world. You made the best food, as the neighbors knew and your co-workers. You made the best Grammy Sandwiches. And till this day no one still doesn't know what you put in those egg salad sandwiches that made them is addicting. Or Louise's meatloaf. You were the Queen and you taught us well. And for that I am grateful. I know you are watching over us. I love you forever and ever, Amen.

Dear Dana, Linda, and Kathy,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. "Mumzie" was one of the kindest people I've ever known. I will never forget her open door policy that allowed me to slip in and sleep on her couch any time of the night during my turbulant teenage years. It was a safe place in a tough time, and I will never forget her or any of you for it. She was a sweet and gentle spirit. I have no doubt heaven welcomed her home with open arms. Love to all of you. Kevi
