I just learned of Mike's untimely death, and while I did not know Mike well, I loved his humor whenever I saw him at the Welliot gym. He brightened everyone's day and left us all with smiles and laughter. He will be missed!

I was devastated to hear today about the passing of Mike. My name is Bill Ruwell and Mike and I worked out at the Elliot gym. I just recently to a transport position at the Elliot Hospital where I was able to move Mike around for his treatment. I also spent some time with him in his hospital room. What I can say about Mike was that he was a genuine person, one with great empathy and heart and an individual who should be remembered as a gentleman. I am unable to attend the viewing but please accept my sincere condolences. - Bill Ruwell
