Tribute & Message From The Family

Lorraine (Villemure) Perkins, 82, of Manchester, died peacefully in her sleep on January 6, 2020 at Ridgewood Center in Bedford.

She was born in Manchester on September 22, 1937 to Theophile and Lillian (Gilibert) Villemure. She was a lifelong resident of the west side of Manchester.

Lorraine worked as the "shoe girl" at Bee Bee Shoe Company for several years. She later operated a day care from her home and worked at Dunkin Donuts shops in Manchester and Milford for many years.

She enjoyed playing games with her family, going to Foxwoods Casino and attending the Cashin Senior Center. She was very welcoming and willing to lend an ear to all people during good times and bad. Her home was always the meeting place for family and friends. She will be remembered for many good things and for her smile.

She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Joseph L. Perkins in 1997 and a brother, Raymond Villemure.

The family includes four children, Joseph Perkins and spouse, Sin-Young, of Memphis, TN, Daniel Perkins and spouse, Nick Boca and Robert Perkins and spouse, Jessica, all of Manchester and Shan Lavoie and spouse, Mark, of Claremont; four grandchildren, Marc Perkins, Chase Perkins, Viveanna Lopez and Eva Segal; a sister, Sr. Rita Villemure PM of Manchester; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday (1/15) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday (1/16) at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 166 So. River Rd., Suite 210, Bedford, NH 03110.

RIP Lorraine, I'm sure that you and Elaine are enjoying a visit in Heaven. My sister Elaine always made a point of visiting Lorraine when she came to NH for a visit.

A Tribute to a loving neighborhood mom who always had her boys and friends in her home . She cooked for us played cribbage with us , took us to the Patriots , and made sure we were always safe .
I remember that she absolutely loved ELVIS .

My sister in law was a careing loving person. She deeply loved her family. Always had a smile and good sense of humor. I am sure she is with Ray and Joe and they are all playing poker!!! I will miss her. I just want to say her sons took such good care of her... she was and is loved...Rita
