I just learned of Dave's passing and am so sorry to hear the news. He was a great friend and co-worker, full of the dickens and funny. We played hockey with the postal team from Manchester and took many trips to Canada to play in league games. We had a ball! His fun loving spirit and genuine kindness will be greatly missed. I'll always remember him and the memories we shared. My sincerest condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. Too full of life to be gone so soon. We grew up and went to school together, played soccer, and enjoyed a lot of great memories with East Side group of friends. Although I didn't know David very well, he was introduced to me as "someone I need to know" if I wanted to run for Alderman in Ward 9, because he knew everybody! We immediately hit it off and the help he provided was immeasurable, never asking for anything in return. He was one of the biggest advocates for the middle class I ever met and would take on anyone who wasn't.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace my friend...

Dave was an amazing Doucet family friend. He was always so funny and caring. He was always with my brother Jimmy playing basketball at Proutts Park. He was there when I was a young boy growing up, at my welcome home party from the Gulf War, working together at the Post Office and playing Hockey for the Post Office in Canada. Dave, thank you for the memories, and my deepest condolences to the McCloskey family. RIP brother.

Our deepest condolences to the McCloskey Family. We will always remember all the laughs and camaraderie we shared - evenings of trivia, music, lively conversations of politics and current events. And Dave always asked how our children were doing which we appreciated so much. A great friend who will be sorely missed. RIP Mac.

I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. I have many happy memories of our high school days. Hanging out with David, my brother Popeye and the Doucet Family. David was always so pleasant and sweet to me. I am sure David is reunited with Jimmy D. in heaven and they are smiling down on us. "David, May God hold you in his loving arms and Bless your family with comfort in these difficult days ahead."
