I am shocked and so sad to hear this news about Christine today through my parents. I have so many fond memories of Christine at Miss Charlottes, in cheerleading, and as a Pinardville neighborhood friend. She was one of the most positive people I knew growing up, always smiling and full of happy energy. Ill never forget the chocolate cake photo at the sleepover with the Pinardville girls (which may have made it into our 1996 senior yearbook). My heart aches for you all. I am so sorry for your loss. I am keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Christine.

My deepest, deepest sympathy to the family. I am so sorry for your loss she is an amazing soul. I had the pleasure of working with Christine for a short period of time and always admired her skills for working with children. We had some great conversations and as an expecting mother at the time she often spoke of her son, Bryson. I clearly remember her joy when speaking of him and just how much she adored him and loved being his mother. I just wanted to share my memory and hope it can in some way be of comfort. My sympathy and blessings.

I worked for Christine for 14 years and through those 14 years Christine showed me respect and endless support. She cared for my daughter and grandson in her classroom throughout the years and to this day she'd always ask how they are doing because she was a true caring person. She appreciated a work-life balance and understood and supported me through family appointments and life events. Her support and encouragement pulled me out of my shell and motivated me to grow. Because of her I am a better employee and person. I will miss her terribly❤.

Christine dedicated her life to children and families who needed a strong advocate and a caring presence in their lives. She knew our little girl before we did and she was present at the adoptions of both of our wonderful children. Christine consoled me on multiple occasions during the ups and downs of the last 4 years of fostering and adopting, she was always a smiling presence at SNHS, and I would regularly find her having lunch dates with struggling kids in her office. My 2 year old will miss his special walks with her during the day and our family will certainly be mourning her sudden absence from our lives. We are devastated that we will be unable to attend her services as we are currently in Florida. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones and especially with her son who we knew through the many pictures adorning her office and proud mom stories she told focused on him.
