From the day you hit my oldest son in the face with a line drive at 6 years old in Little League to the day you and my youngest son became best friends, you have been like my own son. I'm doing my best to wrap my head around how this could happen to a young man who worked so hard to get his life on the right track. I am so proud of you and I will cherish all the times you and Mike had as friends. Rest easy my sweet boy. I love you.

Too young to die. But to celebrate the life and love he gave to others will be a comforting memory. We will appreciate and not take for granted our persisting life and opportunities to support and encourage others in times of grief. We continue to pray for strength and healing.
