Condolence & Memory Journal

Thursday was my favorite day, it was my Edy day! We went on so many adventures, took her out to lunch, the beauty salon, the nail salon, and other errands. She always had the best advice, and was a classy lady one I will never forget. Love you Edy my good friend, I will miss our great Thursdays, may you Rest In Peace.

To the Carr Clan - I was so sad to hear of Edy's passing. I don't recall when she wasn't a part of our families life and have many wonderful memories. Her laugh, smile, and light hearted manner will live on for me. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time in your lives and our history.

Edy was a dear friend, a wonderful, beautiful person, and a fun tennis player , a great hostess and a co-traveler. We always said when we couldn't play tennis at Sudden Pitch Courts, we would sit in our rolators and hit the balls, when the ball machine sent them our way. But we never did it. Edy was a wonderful mom and I know you all will miss her a lot. My sincere condolences to Bob and all the kids and grands.

Bill and I wish to extend our sympathy to the Carr family. Your mom, Edy, was such a good friend to our whole family. She was our neighbor for years. I always enjoyed my late afternoon walks with her. She was so good to our kids and loved children. She will be missed!

I will always remember her kindness and generous heart! When I first arrived in Manchester almost 60 years ago she was so friendly and willing to make me feel welcome! She set an example for me for years to follow!! So interesting my son Mark and I were just talking about her with great fondness! My love and prayers for family!

Bob, we never knew your mother, but feel very close to her as we live in her former home. We were so sad to read of her passing. We did meet her once when she came to make sure her roses were ok. I am taking good care of them for her. Please accept our deepest sympathy on your loss.

Love to all the Carr family from your Texas cousins. We, too, have such fond memories of your parents. They were such gracious hostesses whenever we traveled to the northeast. Through the years, we heard so many great stories from our Mom and Aunt Helene. All those cousins had some amazing times growing up. What a reunion in heaven!

Bobby and family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I was just visiting with my mother at Birch Hill and asking about both of your parents and learned that your Mom wasn't doing well. It is such a complicated time with the Covid-19 concerns, I hope that you were all able to be there with your parents to say your good byes. I am so sorry for your loss and am thinking of you all. Deepest sympathy,

It was so wonderful to spend the day with her a few years back ,in Gloucester, viewing art . One of her favorite things to do. And what an eye for art she had . RIP Edy

Easy was such a lovely woman who always made me smile. My first memories of her were at Sudden Pitch. She always looked out together, even after a game of tennis. Most recently I saw her at Angela's and she was as sharp as ever. She made a real difference in her community and as you mourn her loss you can celebrate her long and well-lived life.
