Condolence & Memory Journal

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother, Maureen. My wife, Lorraine, and I had many happy memories of times spent with her and your dad in "the good old days." She was a wonderful person and a true lady and she and your family will be in my prayers.

Sorry to hear of Maureen's passing. I remember she was a close friend of my Aunt Ann Kasabian Freeman. Another of their mutual friends Doris Pratt Body passed away last week as well also 85yo. I hope they are all together now with a beautiful bright and happy light shining upon them. RIP

Maureen was a wonderfully warmhearted, intelligent lady. Despite her struggles with MS, Maureen continued to put on a smile and face the day. She was devout in her Catholic faith and was a caring mother. Maureen was lovingly cared for by Michael and will be dearly missed. May God grant you eternal peace.

I was sorry to read the news of Maureen's death. I visited her at Meeting House and Ridgewood. She will be in my prayers. She was a friend who I enjoyed visiting.

Mrs. Brown always welcomed me into her home with a smile. Her intelligence and academic achievement were second to none. She was an outstanding citizen. This earthly world is a lesser place without her. She will be missed by many, especially by her son Michael.
Warmest regards,

Mike, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. One of my 1st employers (at age 18) told me to always remember that "You Only Get One Mom". I considered my mom to be my "Best Friend" and I have reason to believe that you did, as well. I can remember many nights when you made visiting you mom a "High Priority". I sensed that visiting your mom was the highlight of many of your days (and certainly the highlight of many of your mom's). I am certain that she will be missed and that she has every reason to be proud of, and grateful for, you as her son.

Michael Brown and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Even though I unfortunately never had the pleasure of meeting Maureen, I feel after reading about her here I was able to know a small part of her and who she was. I also know that her son Michael Brown truly adored her. I will forever be great full of the memories he has stared with me of his beautiful mother. Dressed to the nine and always always there for her son.
