Tribute & Message From The Family

Scott L Fuller, 54, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on July 12 at the Merrimack Community Hospice House after an 18-month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Manchester on August 1, 1966, he was the son of Lawrence and Kathleen (Kelly) Fuller. Scott was educated through the Manchester School District. He had a hunger for knowledge, attended a variety of courses, and received his Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017.

Scott served the Manchester Police Department for 23 years, retiring as Sergeant in 2013. His commitment to serve and protect was done with the utmost care, concern, and safety. From there he worked at SNHU as a Public Safety Officer and later as a Student Conduct Manager.

Scott will forever be remembered for his loyalty, smile, kind heart, and loving embrace. His favorite times were those spent with his family. He enjoyed traveling to Universal Studios Orlando every year with his son Jacob, and ensured Kayla would always have the strength to do whatever she wanted in life. He and his wife raised an amazing family and created many wonderful and ever lasting memories.

Scott's greatest self-achievement was becoming a 5th Degree Master in Taekwondo. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and traveling to Florida, but most of all cherished those he called "family". He was a selfless man, and will forever hold a place in the hearts he touched.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Patricia (Hadley) Fuller, his children, Jacob Fuller and Kayla Fuller all of Manchester, his father Lawrence Fuller of Manchester, brother Mark Fuller and his wife Sandi along with their children Cormik and Casey Fuller, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His mother predeceased him in 2002.

Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, corner of North St., will be Thursday, July 15 from 4pm-8pm. A graveside committal service will take place on Friday, July 16 at 11am at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Merrimack Community Hospice House and/or the Manchester Police Mount Patrol c/o Officer Kelly McKenney (

My condolences to Scott's family. I worked with Scott during my early years at SNHU and he was an incredible resource and mentor, helping me learn how to de-escalate situations and maintain professional boundaries when dealing with difficult conversations. Thank you, Scott, after all these years I haven't forgotten the impact you had. Rest in peace.

I worked with Scott for several years at SNHU. He chaired more than a few student conduct hearings on which I was a member. I found him consistently fair, reasonable, professional, and down to earth. Scott would also stop by my desk when he was in that part of the mill to say hello and to brag about his kids. His love for his family was always apparent. He was a very good man. I'm so sad for this loss, and my heart truly goes out to his entire family.

To Scott's family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. Scott and I grew up in the same neighborhood, he was a good friend to my brother. I have many fond memories of Scott and his family growing up together. I ran into him in later years when MPD would take our seniors on the Christmas lights tour and we got to catch up a bit. He was the salt of the earth, never a bad word to say, always a sense of humor, and always glad to see you. He will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, Gospeed Scott.

I want to offer my deepest condolences to the Fuller family. Scott was and is one of those names you know within our community. While I only worked on a team for a short time with Scott, he made a tremendous impact on me years ago in crossing. I've heard beautiful stories of the kind of friend and coworker that he was, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to meet and work with him. May you rest in peace, Scott. -Sarah Emery, Coworker, SNHU
