Obituary

Mr. Glen Harvey Wall of Manchester, NH, affectionately known as "Tex", passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the age of 77.

Glen was born to Herman and Effie Wall on December 18, 1943 in Denison, TX. He attended Irving High School where he ran track and field. In 1966, he joined the Army and served with the United States Army Security Agency. While briefly stationed in Fort Devens, Massachusetts, he met his beloved Diane Aimee and they were married in Manchester, NH in 1968. Glen graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with an Associates in Science Degree in Electronic Engineering. After his military service, Glen focused on his career in engineering and settled their family in Dallas, TX, where he and Diane routinely and lovingly played tennis. They later moved to Manchester, NH, where Glen continued his education at the University of NH, earning a Bachelor Degree in General Studies. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Cook's Institute of Electronics Engineering. Glen has been a member of the American Legion since 1992. He retired from Raytheon in 2005.

As a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Glen was always present and supportive. He was an avid motorcyclist, ham radio operator, master of all tools, movie enthusiast, guitar hero, and ever willing to play a game at the table he inherited from his family farm. His reserved demeanor contrasted with his adventurous mind and creative expression.

Glen is survived by his wife of 52 years Diane (Pouliot) Wall, and their 3 children; Jeffrey Lee Wall and his wife Stephanie of Goffstown, their children Rachel and Logan, Robert Glen Wall and his wife Jeannie of Manchester, their children Jessica and Andrew, and Kathleen Aimee (Wall) Hughey and her husband Daniel of League City, TX, their children Savana and Morgen.

Glen will forever be missed for his devotion to his family, quirky "dad" jokes, support of his grandchildren's activities, vast historical knowledge, impeccable craftsmanship, and the ability to fix almost anything. He was Diane's Superman.

A private family service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Derryfield School, 2108 River Road, Manchester, NH 03104 or to the Manchester Kidney Center, 1750 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104
