Obituary

Lovy G. (Lepage) Poulin, 95, of Manchester, NH died March 21, 2022 at her home at Villa Crest after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on October 10, 1926 to John and Yvonne (Montmarquet) Lepage. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

She was born into a loving Catholic family and was one of 7 children. She met her husband Edward (Eddie) while roller skating at the infamous Bedford Grove and they enjoyed long walks home. She and Eddie were married on March 2, 1945 once he had returned home from the Navy. Their love created 3 beautiful children and they lived a happy and normal life. She went to work at Zayre's when her youngest daughter went to 1st grade and worked there for several years. She then went to work for Pandora and her last job was as a switchboard operator at CMC. She retired at the age of 62 and enjoyed staying home reading her many novels and watching game shows. Jeopardy was one of her favorites. We believe in her heart that one day she would have loved to have been a contestant. Her knowledge of life events was far superior, so much that we had to stop playing Trivial Pursuit with her because she would not only beat our butts, but would give a whole lot of history behind the answers. (LoL) She was also a beautiful singer and always had a song in her heart. She would always feel honored and blessed when anyone would ask her to sing. Secretly we think she always wished she had pursued a singing career. Besides the love of her family was her love of her dogs and boy did they love her "home" cooking. Her strong faith in God always carried her through all the hard times and illnesses. She was also a participant in the Easter Seals senior programs where she thrived and enjoy the companionship, the activities and felt wanted and needed by so many of her friends and staff.

Lovy will always be remembered as a wonderful and amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and godmother. Her love of family always sustained her and gave her the strength and inspiration to live to 95 ½ years of age.

Lovy is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Eddie Poulin; her son, Kenneth Poulin; along with siblings Jean, Annette, Julie, Carrie and her son-in-law Brian Duckless. She is survived by her children, Susan (Poulin) Champagne and Gail (Poulin) Duckless; her son's partner Dolly Bemis; grandchildren, Beth Champagne, Amy (Champagne) Winters and her husband Jonathan (JJ) Winters, Jeffrey Duckless and his wife Kimberly (Darling) Duckless, Jason Duckless, Jonathan Duckless, and Scott Poulin and his wife MacKenzie (Dunwell) Poulin; great-grandchildren, Colin and Caleb Duckless, Emily and Natalie Winters, and Laney Poulin; godchild, Donnie Pinard; brother, Paul Lepage and his wife Lorraine; and sister, Claire (Lepage) Ridge; and also many loved nieces and nephews.
