Richard Noel "Ricky" Marier, Jr., 54, of Manchester died unexpectedly on March 9, 2022 at his residence. Born in Manchester on June 9, 1967, he was the son of Richard N. and Lorraine C. (Morrissette) Marier, Sr. He attended Manchester High School West and worked as a self-employed, master drywaller and taper for over 35 years and was truly the most talented and best in the industry.

Ricky, was extremely gifted working with his hands and was an extremely dedicated and hard worker. He was an avid sports fan, having played hockey and baseball in his youth, and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He had a passion for classic cars, racing and music. Ricky also enjoyed coin collecting and baseball cards. He was very reserved and enjoyed time spent at home. Ricky loved his family with his whole heart. He was very caring, kind-hearted and compassionate, and loved life. He also did his best to control his struggles with addictions.

He absolutely loved his son Ricky and so loved and adored his grand baby Liliana. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather, spouse, brother, uncle and friend.

Surviving family members include his father, Richard N. Marier, Sr. of Palm Coast, FL; one son, Richard N. Marier III of Manchester; one granddaughter, Liliana Marier of Manchester; one sister, Vicky Detore and husband Jim of N. Easton, MA; one brother, Kenneth Marier and wife Katherine of Goffstown; nieces and nephews, Keith, Kelly, Jennifer, Mark, Scott, Nicholas, Ashley and Sawyer; and great nieces and nephews, Dylan, Alara, Kaan, Ilayda, Camren, Alexus and Baylie. He was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Marier in 2014; one brother, Steven James Marier in 2019; and the mother of their son, Kathleen Hurley.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be from 1 pm to 3:30 pm on Saturday, March 19th followed by a memorial service beginning promptly at 3:30 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
