Obituary

Sally T. (Zyla) Addison, 82, lifelong resident of Manchester, died January 8th, 2017 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on May 12, 1934, she was the daughter of Maurice and Sadie (Hoyt) Zyla. She was educated in the Manchester school system and graduated from Central High School.
Sally taught dancing for over 57 years at her Sally Zyla Dance Studio. She was also the owner of Kindertree Learning Center Preschool.
Miss Sally loved her work and all of "her kids". She and her husband Tom enjoyed travel to some 25 countries as well as extensive trips all across the US and Canada. Sally performed on channel 9 as a featured performer in the early years of the stations programming. She performed at the US Pavillion of New York's World's Fair and on cruise ships in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
She taught classes at dance workshops in Panama, NY, Chicago and in Boston. She also founded and directed the N.E. Company for dancers.
Sally was awarded the 1st annual Champion For Children Award (The Singer Family) as well as the Heart To God, Hand To Man Award and the Making A Difference Award presented by the Salvation Army. She served on the Community Board of the Palace Theater and loved the theater and its entire staff.
Sally was blessed by having many people to love and be loved by, especially Bruce Azotea, Lana and their family; her angel, Miss Kris Larocque and the entire Larocque family; Norm and Paula St. Amand; Sandy, Lise, Tony Walker, and countless others who are in her heart forever.
DO NOT BE SAD THIS PART HAS ENDED, BE HAPPY IT HAPPENED AT ALL!!!
She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Addison in 1994.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Grace Episcopal Church, corner of Lowell and Pine St. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.
